- The
GRIP-position.
The anchor flips easily up into the
GRIP-Position
for a quick
action (#1,#2 see below). It then stands in a 3 point position
with over 55% of its weight on the forward pointed bill, especially beneficiary on rock
where it soon finds a cleft to hang in to.
- One pointy bill.
From the GRIP-position
(#2) the pointed bill works at all time effectively in all types of
sea-beds. All developing forces are centered in the structure - No
bending!
- Horizontally
balanced.
The sideway forces, bill-forces, acting on the bill, centerpiece, quickly turns the
anchor (#3) into a horizontally stabilized position (#5), where the centerpiece is vertical.
There are then NO bill-forces acting form
either side of the bill.
- 360 degrees veering.
Wind and
current direction changes makes the anchor tilt,
slightly, side-ways. Also here the bill-force works extremely positive
(see horizontally balanced above), as it automatically counteracts,
thriving to level the anchor back horizontally as it goes around.
In the same time it continuously fights for a maximum GRIP!
- The
Compression-effect.
When the anchor is embedded, a compression-effect
is developed, in the tunnel between the top and bottom flukes,
which generates a massive holding power!
- Easy release.
The great leverage of the shank against the break-point, advanced,
(~300% greater then other 2 pies anchors), grants
for an exceptionally easy retrieval from a
secure and safe hold.
- The sideways supported
shank.
The upper bill supports
the shank however the anchor falls, turns. No twisting or bending!
- Angle adjustment.
By just inserting a bolt into the shank changes the angle of attack.
NO disassembling of the anchor needed!
