"What
an airplane - What
an anchor!"
Boeing's idea is surprisingly much the same as the design of
the HANS Anchor. It will of cause not compete with the
anchor and vise versa, but we understand why Boeing works with
this technologically advanced and revolutionary diamond shape
structure. It has many advantages as: great
strength, light weight, unique performances, aerodynamics.
The anchor develops little resistance to penetrate into the
sea bed, and the holding power from the compression effect
that

the anchor generates in sand and soft bottoms is massive, are
all just superior qualities. It will be of great interest to see that plane fly one
day! We believe it will fly with excellence just
as the HANS Anchor behaves in the seabed with all it's features and benefits.
From the beginning with this idea we could not even dream about
how well this design performs, in various situations. (See "Illustrated
Techniques") |
