"Stealth" Anchor your best friend |
On the Seabed:
The "STEALTH" Anchor always lands
on one of its four sides ready to penetrate into the sea-bed.
When pulled it quickly flips up to its active GRIP position.
It catches and becomes quickly thoroughly buried in the seabed within
approximately 1 - 2 times its length. See

GRIP Position:
In this position, the anchor rests on three points with approximately
55% of its total weight on the forward and downward
aiming pointed penetrating bill.
When pulled, bottom material is forced into the anchor and onto the
somewhat angled centerpiece, forcing it to quickly turn and be
horizontally balanced. When balanced, NO force are
acting on either side of the centerpiece.. This feature is
especially interesting when the boat veers from wind and current.

Strong Hold
(Compression) (Penetrating Stock):
The "STEALTH" Anchor is designed to provide a completely balanced hold,
which ensures total stability with no tendency to break out under
extreme load and veering. All fluke surfaces (penetrating stock)
are aimed in the same direction of penetration and the accumulated soil
on top of the upper fluke ad weight to the anchor for a deeper set.
When embedded the compression effect between the top- and bottom flukes generates
superior holding power.

The Angle of attack:
can be adjusted with a bolt inserted into the angle adjustment hole in
the shank for specific bottom conditions without disassembling the
anchor. The break point is thereby changed from the tip of the
fluke to against the bolt, which gives a sharper angle of attack.
This is ideal when large scope ratios, 10:1 or more, shallow waters, is needed as in a
distress situation in heavy weather conditions. For NORMAL use
NO bolt should be used. It is
recommended to get well familiar with any anchor to learn and understand
its characteristics to perform.

360° Veering and never
give up fighting for a secure hold!:
It does not foul or loose its
hold when compensating for wind and current changes. The
360-degrees veering ability is possible because the centered and
extended bill sets deep. When the direction of force changes the
"STEALTH" Anchor turns around the embedded bill and tilts slightly, making a bang like an airplane, veering to the new direction of pull
to be quickly horizontally
balanced again. It always keeps on fighting and remains imbedded
until it is hoisted.

Easy to Recover - The
Advanced Breakpoint:
makes breaking out and hoisting the
anchor easy. The shank, hits against the tip of the upper fluke,
advanced breakpoint, and the anchor rotates and breaks out easily
because all the grounding forces lies in the aft of the anchor,
the widest part, where the horizontal "axis" of rotation is located.

No Fouling:
Its design eliminates any possibility of being fouled from other objects
when embedded. Therefore it is virtually a NON-FOULING anchor and very
safe to use.
